Finally found out how to add comments on tumblr, yay for me. Anyway, I’ve almost never wanted to do a nuzlocke run, mostly because I don’t think my heart can take it, but because one of my friends is doing it, I thought why the hell not I. This is also the first time I’m doing this sort of text/screenshot LP. :s This is meant to be comedic, and not a serious playthrough, so I hope you enjoy!
So the rules of this run are (Kinda stole this from someone, because I really liked their rules):
1: You can only capture the first Pokemon met on a Route/Cave/Town, if you fail…tough luck…move on.
-Only exception of above rule (Besides the bottom rule) is the beginning when you don’t have PokeBalls.
-Gift Pokemon don’t count toward this.
-Areas like a Cave/Tower where there are several floors/areas are counted as one area.
-The Safari Zone, I start with one area and can only capture the first Pokemon from each area.
2: If a Pokemon faints, IT MUST BE BOXED.
3: All Pokemon caught will be Nicknamed.
4: A White-Out/Black-Out in battle is considered Game Over and the run is over.
5: No doubles of Pokemon already caught, however if a Pokemon faints and you encounter that said Pokemon again, that counts toward Rule 1.
6: If a double is encountered in the wild, catch the next Pokemon you meet until its one you haven’t caught yet.
7: If a Pokemon of a certain family is encountered when I already have a member of that family (ex. Meeting a Raticate when you have a Rattata or vice-verse) I can opt to skip that Pokemon.
8: Battle style will be set to SET not SHIFT.
9: No legendaries, no daycare, and no trading, unless it involves the trade evolution pokemon.
10: Encountering a SHINY Pokemon nullifies the First Encounter Rule, if there are Shinies in this.

Now before I begin I will say that I’m sorry if I sounded frustrated on that last update. I should really learn to say everything so people don’t assume otherwise. Because I didn’t say that I didn’t need any help, people tried to help because they didn’t know because I didn’t say that I didn’t need any help. But remember kids, to assume makes a ass out of u and me. (And that is how are learned to spell the word as well lol)
So, my dad has wiped the computer and loaded Windows 7 Professional [W7P] on it. inb4 people say I should have gotten Ultimate. The reason for Professional is because I got it for $30 here. Might as well show to as many people as I can, because this is a great deal. Normally a W7P upgrade is $200! I saved a ton of money from doing this. (But note that you can’t upgrade Vista Ultimate to 7 Professional, cuz Windows is kinda weird like that)
All day today I’m going to be loading all my important programs back, moving my backup files to their proper place and so on. No games though, we haven’t gotten the new graphics card yet. That should be here either tomorrow or Thursday.

Ok, in that last update I wasn’t asking for help. Me and my dad know what we are doing. If I need help, I’ll say that I need help. Got it memorized? *shot for bad joke* But thank you eltzarus for confirming what we have found to be the problem. But atm I do need someone to tell me about a graphics card that we just bought.
Yesterday we put in one of our old graphics cards and the computer worked fine. So it is the graphic card’s fault. Apparently 9800 GTs are known to have problems anyway. It was a good card when it was working. XP Well I’m moving to a 450, and it might be a step down from my old card, but I’m not sure. I tried to find some comparative tests for both of them, but they were never running games that were similar. Here are the two that I picked:
GeForce 9800 GT 512MB
Game: Far Cry 2
1,680 x 1,050 4xAA 0xAF, DirectX 10, High Detail
Average FPS: 34.2
Minimum FPS: 29.0

Game: Battlefield: Bad Company 2
1,920 x 1,200 0xAA 16xAF, DirectX 11, Maximum Detail, HBAO off
Average FPS: 35
Minimum FPS: 23
Now yes, BBC2 is a newer game, but notice on the 450 that it has a much bigger minimum FPS drop then the 9800 GT? :\ Then again I never play on “maximum detail” unless it’s a older game anyway. Ah well, really as long as it works, and as long as it doesn’t have a crap load of lag when I record PC games, I’m fine with the card.
So tell me what you guys know about the GeForce 450. It’s this exact one, if you want more info. (Isn’t that a great review that one guy gave? lmao)

Well, the bad news is that my computer did a belly flop. Whenever I try to play a game the graphics freak out and the computer freezes. Half the time I can’t even start up the computer.
This I believe this is caused by the video drivers I just installed on the computer because Fable 3 was crashing, so I blame Fable 3 and the people on the forums that told me to update my divers for all this mess. XP I played 2 hours of Fable, and then it starts freezing. Srsly wtf Fable.
BUT no need to worry! I backed up all my important files (ie game saves, music, backup videos), and my dad is gonna wipe the computer and put a fresh new Windows 7 on it. :D We needed a wipe on it at some point anyway, I got so much crap on that computer. Just thought I’d give you guys a heads up!
